Hey, sparkyred gave me this idea:

  1. The Path - Laurie Beth Jones
  2. The Game - Theresa Toten
  3. Magician's Ward - Patricia C. Wrede
  4. Saladin - can't remember
  5. Over the Edge - Gloria M. something
  6. Child of the Prophecy - Juliet Marillier
  7. A Grief Observed - C.S. Lewis
  8. Matilda Bone - Karen Cushman
  9. True Enough - Lauren Brooke
  10. Magic's Price - Mercedes Lackey
  11. Crime Scene Investigations - somebody
  12. Eddie Rickenbacher - err...someone
  13. A Pig Named Perrier - yeah, again
  14. Ashes of Roses - Mary Jane Auch
  15. Lady of Hay - Barbara Erskine (eek!)
  16. Deep Secret - Diana Wynne Jones
  17. Flashback - Nevada Barr
  18. The Fallen Man - Tony Hillerman
  19. The First Eagle - Tony Hillerman
  20. The Blessing Way - Tony Hillerman
  21. Dance Hall of the Dead - Tony Hillerman
  22. Listening Woman - Tony Hillerman
  23. Across the Nightengale Floor - Lian Hearn

I can't remember the authors of most of the books I read while working for Scholastic, and I'm too lazy to go look them up. Lady of Hay is about the area where essayel lives, and while the premise of the book and the writing can be atrocious, the historical aspect and setting are interesting. Deep Secret was lots of fun, and I read it because of thegraybook. Flashback was about Fort Jefferson on the Dry Tortugas, and I really really liked it. A Civil War fort in a national park as the setting. How could it be bad?
